Wildlife Tours in Portugal with Salva Fauna

Birding Tours in Portugal

Beginning this new year, I am delighted to expand our offer of ethical wildlife tours on Salva Fauna with the opening of a new destination : Portugal!

I will personally guide some of our tours in Portugal, sometimes pairing with a local guide in order to bring our guests an even better experience. These wildlife tours range from 2 hours birding walks to full week all inclusive experiences. We focus at the moment only on the southern part of Portugal, ie the regions of Alentejo and Algarve, as they are the best birding destinations of Portugal. Birding hotspots in the south of Portugal include the Tagus Estuary near Lisbon, the plains of Castro Verde, Ria Formosa, Sagres, and many more. More than 550 bird species have been spotted in Portugal.

I invite to check our different ethical wildlife tours in Portugal and join us for a memorable exprience in nature!

As always, we organize group tours with only 6 guests maximum, or private tours. We apply the highest ethics in terms of wildlife approach and wildlife photography. And we donate 10% of our tours profit to wildlife conservation organizations.

Looking forward to meeting you in the field.
