Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) / 12.08.2015
Largest gannet on earth, the Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) is a magnificient seabird. My friends and I had the chance to see many of them fishing. Their spectacular technique consists in locating their prey very high in the sky while flying, and then diving at high speed to catch the fish. They pierce the water like an arrow. An incredible show to watch!
Isle of Mull, Scotland.
