The Orange-headed Thrush (Zoothera citrina) is one of the many highlights of my trip to Kerala. I find this bird extremely beautiful. Look at the details of its colourful plumage. I have seen this bird a few times during the trip, but here is the first sighting, spotted by my wife next to a Malabar Grey Hornbill (Ocyceros griseus). The Orange-headed Thrush (Zoothera citrina) is omnivorous. It feeds on a wide range of fruits, insects and worms, and nests in trees.

Love Nature.
