My classes are suitable for all levels and all photographic genres. Whether it's mastering your camera to understand how to use it, getting out of auto mode, improving your composition, sharpening your creative eye, or learning a particular technique such as photographing birds in flight, my private photography lessons in Portugal will take you to a new level.

2 hours in nature for 1 or 2 participants
I have been teaching hundreds of students since 2017. My photography classes take place in the districts of Lisbon, Setúbal, Faro, Beja and Évora. Lessons are private and given in nature in English or French. One lesson lasts 2 hours. Take advantage of my undivided attention to learn at your pace. There is no way better to improve your photography than being in a 1 to 1 setup, where I can fully focus on what you specifically need to learn. I give you my full attention to bring you as much knowledge and practical advice as possible.
Rate varies according to the location of the class, in order to fairly include cost of transportation to reach our meeting point. Book your photography class by choosing your district and the number of participants. I will then contact you by email to organize your class with you. We will decide together the exact location and the date, according to your availability and mine.

Our private lesson is fully adapted to your level and to your needs. You may simply need to understand how your camera works and master all the buttons and menus available. Great, we will do just that!

“The 1:1 photography course with Jonathan was exceptional! He explained aperture and shutter speed, why they matter and how to adjust them on my Olympus T6 camera. He gently acknowledged that fancy photography equipment and accessories can be useful, but not necessary if you know how to use the equipment at hand. All of this in it self is super important to a novice photographer, but I learned something way more important:
He showed me how to really look at nature. I mean really look at it and see the minute details in the context of the whole setting.
